A cornerstone of the Design District’s restaurant row, Pacific Time is the home of yet another veteran chef who left Miami Beach for newer, northern shores. But Jonathan Eismann’s loyal clientele doesn’t mind driving over the causeway for the Pac-Rim pioneer’s famous dishes like tamarind barbecued wild salmon.

Heavy on Asian influence, the menu lists tartares, tatakis, tempura and curries as some of its highlights.

Though not everything has an eastern edge—you’ll find comfort food items as well, like the truffle roasted chicken with butter beans and potato and parsnip croquettes. Better for sampling his range of culinary skills, entrees are available in small plate portions too.Quote_transparent
