<description_plain>Minnesota-born, Los Angeles based artist/gardener/educator/architect Fritz Haeg is known for his work on a myriad of projects from home design to radical gardening and political activism.

In March, Haeg wrote a letter to the residents of Miami requesting applications from people willing to open their living rooms to a series of social salon gatherings. The selected hosts allowed their own furniture to be transported to the Museum of Contemporary Art while Haeg redesigned their living rooms to facilitate a social event.

In this workshop, the artist discusses his installation and salon series.</description_plain>
